It has been a long while since I have updated my blog. But I must say that October has been very great thus far. There have been events such as Fall Break and tons of Homecoming festivities. I am happy I was able to take part in most of them. But the only downfall was that there was so much work that needed to be done. I had to take at least 2 midterms in which I did not enjoy one bit at all. They were both in my Social Work Major classes and had a ton of information. But I sure am happy I got through it all and I am done with those. Except now the work load has built up already not long after. College Life AHHHH!

First off I had a great Fall Break despite the small things. I went on down to Preston's house in Maryland and hung out with his family. During that weekend I discovered I was actually allergic to cats. His family has 4 cats and 1 dog which is quite a good amount of animals haha. But on the first day I was there I had big blowout to myself as taking Benadryl knocked me out completely and I was asleep within hours due to the allergies from cats. I was able to explore Bel Air despite how it was raining. That Friday we went to his brother's marching band/football game. It brought back memories as it was Homecoming Weekend for their high school. The next day some of their friends came for pictures at his house. Later on I went along with him and his grandparents to watch an awesome movie called Captain Phillips. As the weekend came by the allergies started dying down. We then had to return back to Messiah for school after the weekend ended which was bittersweet.

Homecoming Weekends were amazing this year. To kick it off I went to the Orchestra Concert the Friday Night when it began. I reunited with some people whom I have not seen in a while. The next day I started working as a Student Traffic Officer whereas I directed traffic. It was quite fun as I got to see lots of familiar faces alongside watching the awesome soccer games. The soccer teams have been doing very well and were very impressive. But that night the rain poured down and most people left the Men's game but overall it was fun. Then this past weekend there were ongoing festivities such as the Dance which I really enjoyed the most. It was a Blast and I would totally go back and relive it all over again soon or later! Now it sucks that work loads are gonna be heavy again... Best of luck to everyone!
